Christmastime is here!

Last night we went to Roger's Gardens with the fam and picked out a Christmas ornament like we do every year. If you have never been you have to go because it is beautiful and really gets you into the Christmas spirit! We always get a Christoper Radko ornament. Here is the ornament we got this year:

Cole with His Buddy Seth Lemons!

Seth and Cole had a little "play date" the other day. They are 6 weeks apart and Seth weighs 5 lbs. more than Cole. (Cole is about 12 lbs. and Seth is about 17 lbs.) They are going to be buds!

"Look at us in our matching PJs!"

Other cute pics of Cole...

He always has those hands in fists.

"Hi Mom!"

Sleepy baby! He loves his swing!

Cole is all smiles!

Ever since November 13 when Cole gave me his first smile, he has smiled at me everyday! I have had some trouble getting him to do it for the camera and when he has my camera has been too slow yo capture it. Until now...This first one was taken today! The others were taken last week on the changing table. (Sorry they are blurry.)

3 MONTHS OLD!

I can't believe Cole is 3 months old today, November 22. He is getting so big even though he is smaller for his age. I may have missed out on taking care of him for a month, but he knows his Mama! (He is getting to know Mickey Mouse. Our children will love Disney!)

Cole Sleeping not Daddy!

Josh wanted me to add this picture of Cole sleeping when he wasn't. He even had to pose for it.

Napping with Daddy!

Here are a few pictures of Cole with his Daddy either while he is sleeping or they are sleeping together. The last one are from this week. Mommy isn't the only one in recovery and needing naps!

Cute Pics of Cole!

He is going to love Frank Sinatra like his daddy!

This picture was taken today! I am having fun dressing him in his cute onesies that say funny things!

He is the only McDreamy I am watching right now. Unfortunately I am having a hard time going back and watching my favorite show, Grey's Anatomy, because of all I have been through.

One of the many faces of Cole...I love when he wrinkles his eyebrows like this.

He likes his baths! Yes, his belly button is okay. The hernia should heal itself. We are keeping a close eye on it.

My little cuddle bear!

My little pumpkin!

Cute pic taken before the hospital at home at about 6 weeks. Sweet Boy!

Caring Bridge

As many of you know I have been out of commission this last month in the hospital at UCLA having brain surgery. Even typing that now sounds so strange. For the whole story and all the updates you can visit my CaringBridge website at:

www.caringbridge.org/visit/jaimewarren

We are currently doing weekly updates instead of daily ones now that I am home. Look for a new post and picture today because I finally got to wash my hair and style it so that the shaved parts don't even show. Praise God!

More pictures of baby Cole to follow.

Cole is two weeks old!!

Sleeping in his swing!

Grabbing Nana's finger!

We unswaddle him to try to wake him up to eat. This is one time it wasn't working. Sweet Baby!

Yesterday was his 2 week check-up at the pediatrican. Let me remind you, Cole weighed 5 lbs. 11 oz. at birth. At 1-week-old he weighed 5 lbs. 5 oz. Yesterday at 2-weeks-old he weighed 5 lbs. 15 oz. He gained 10 oz. in 1 week! Way to go Cole! Other news is that his ambilical cord fell out and his circumcision is healed! He is doing great!

All Four Grandkids!!!!

This picture was taken shortly after we arrived home from the hospital. Kaylie is 5-years-old and holding our little Cole. Cassi is almost 3-years-old and has her 1-year-old brother Caleb. What fun Cole is going to have with his cousins! I am sorry to all the friends and family who will be mixing up their names because trhey all start with "C" or "K."

Stupid broken computer!

Okay...so I know I haven't posted lately but that is because my laptop is in the shop. The power cord is not connecting properly. You have to jiuggle the cord in the computer for it to read. Most of the time I was finding my laptop was dead after I thought it had just been charging all night.

I should be picking it up this week.

I have had to fight Josh for time on his computer. If you know how much Josh is on his computer, even remotely when he is at work (through GoToMyPC), you would know that it has been a difficult battle.

I promise there will be more posts to come when Mr. Toshiba is back in my hands!

32 Week Belly!

I have had Josh take my picture every few weeks to see how my belly has grown. These were taken just a few days ago when I was 32 weeks pregnant. I am now entering my eighth month of pregnancy. I went to the doctor on Monday for a check-up and everything is going great. The baby is growing, I am growing, and everything is right on schedule. All my aches and pains in my lower back and hips are normal and I am starting to retain some water. I am the only one who can see it a little in my ankles and feet because I know what they are supposed to look like. I see the doctor again at 35 weeks, then 37, and then once a week until he is born! Josh and I have our first Childbirth Preparation class at the hospital tonight.

Here is a closer view of the belly.

This last one was actually me at 28 weeks so you can compare how much it has grown in the last 4 weeks. More to come later! Hopefully, I will have some picures from my upcoming baby showers that are actually flattering of me. It would help if I could get the braces off soon too. Who knows when that will be exactly. It could be as far away as December. Merry Christmas!

Baby's Room Stage 2

Thank you Rick and Kay, or should I say Papa and Grammy, for the crib! (This is only part of the bedding. After we get the crib mattress and mattress pad, I will put on the crib sheet and bumper.)
Thank you Dad and Carol, or should I say Grandpa and Grandma, for the changing table! (After we get the changing table pad and cover I will take another picture.)

The picture of the back of the door is to show you that we need to still paint the base boards. Look at the color difference between the door and the trim around it. The baseboards are that same color.
Watching this room come together is really fun! And, yes... we did assemble these pieces of furniture ourselves.
"Baby's Room Update Stage 3" post will come after my baby showers, Aug. 9th & Aug. 17th. I can't wait for both of the them. I am so excited!

Meeting Derek Hough...

Choreographer from Dancing with the Stars: Derek Hough

His sister is Julianne Hough: fellow Dancing wih the Stars Choreographer and now country music singer.

Derek Hough danced with Jennie Garth 2 seasons ago.

Derek Hough danced with Shannon Elizabeth from American Pie last season.
Why am I posting about Derek Hough? Josh and I saw Derek at the John Mayer concert. Josh is always bold enough to introduce himself to famous people. Josh just told him that we are big fans of his work and watch the show all he time and shook hands. He was shorter and smaller in person than we realized. Not everyone else recognized him. We saw one couple ask him to take their picture. Now this was not a picture with Derek just the couple. They had no idea who was taking their picture.
Nice to meet you Derek!
